We at Komuhn have been standing on the shoulders of the giants of collaboration and now we want to share with you everything we’ve learned, and in the process, learn some more. In reality this is just an excuse to spend more time with smart friends and get to know more good people.
Colab is our shared language for working together. It’s a collection of methods, tools and best practices that we’ve been playing with and iterating over many years of designing with groups of people of all kinds.
With the “How we Colab” series we are going to invite a different guest host each time and partner with cool organizations to create spaces where we will learn about the art of making things together. The Hum will be our first.
About this Training
In this 2 day intensive training we cover all 10 Patterns for Decentralised Organising, considering all the components that support a thriving collaborative workplace.
We will bring insightful training material and engaging exercises, hosting team dialogues to understand how the patterns apply in your context.
We will get into the real work of co-designing your next experiment in organisational improvement.
Our training method

We bring examples from different groups around the world, as well as research from academic studies.
We host participatory learning exercises for participants to reflect on how these lessons apply in their group context.
We don’t arrive with predetermined solutions, instead we facilitate conversations for people to co-design solutions that are right for them.
In our experience, this is the most effective way for engaging people in organisational change and committing together to improve the group culture and structure.
