The lessons we share come from our direct lived experience working in teams that have been pioneering new ways of organising since 2011.

Nati - She helps groups to cultivate a nourishing collaborative culture through values-driven behavioral change and relationships of peer-to-peer support. She is a co-owner of the Loomio Cooperative, member of Enspiral, and founder of the Newtown Tool Library.

Rich -  is passionate about co-ownership, self-management, collaborative governance, and other ways of sneaking anarchism into respectable places. He is a cofounder of tech co-op Loomio, and a member & director of the Enspiral network of self-organising companies.

In this online course we’ll show you how to create self-governing teams that are highly effective, non-hierarchical and nourishing to work in.

This is a practical in-depth guide to new ways of working, from people who have been immersed in decentralised organisations for a decade.

What is the time commitment & format?

Self-study The course includes 7 modules (video lessons, exercises, journaling questions, recommended reading), that will each take about 60-90 minutes to work through on your own. Additionally there are team practices you can try & each module has about 5 links to extra resources: articles, videos and recommended books. So depending on your desire you could spend a few more hours per module going deeper. We recommend doing one module per week, and trying the practices with your team. Guided Program We will do one module a week for 7 weeks. This requires the same minimum time commitment as the Self-study to follow the content. Optionally, you are also invited to join our four 1-hour live calls with the trainers, and three 1-hour calls with your Learning Pod (a small group for peer support with other learners). Cohort 1 starts on May 4th. Live Calls with the trainers are scheduled for 5pm CEST every second Thursday (May 7, May 21, June 4, and June 18). Calls are recorded so it is okay if you can't make it to the live session.
